Me

Wow, so much has changed in my life since I last updated this page. For the back story to this post, check the Archives.

Since my last post I left New England and moved back to the DMV (DC MD VA) region. After a brief stint in VA I moved to Baltimore MD where I've been for the past two years. I briefly dated someone (and hope to post some lessons learned based on that relationship), changed ministry focus, and am now in the process of purchasing a home (so much to say about that), EGAD! I'll be 34 this year (well into my 30's) and so am a little bit more seasoned.

I'm hoping to write a book (more to come on that). I'm starting to feel old- but the child in me refuses to comply with that feeling so, we're figuring out how to thrive with these multi-dimensional demands at work in me.

Spend some time perusing around my life. My hope is to humanize the face of ministry (posted some time before the events of 2016).

Since then, I was ordained as a women's pastor in the Greater Baltimore Church, and got a few degrees along the way. recently began a PhD program at Georgetown University and remain as passionate as ever about women and the women’s ministry. My research interests center religion and gender within a Christian and Islamic comparative framework.
